Why does Korean red ginseng appear to be more expensive than other ginseng?

Korean red ginseng is more expensive because it has a high ginsenoside count.  The price of ginseng rises with more ginsenosides in the herb.  Improving the ginsenoside count in a root is determined by age, location and cultivation process.
